Fund: The Osher Re-Entry Scholarship Endowment Department: Undergrad Student Financial Aid D02089 Purpose: Undergraduate Student Support Selection and Guidelines: The Osher program provides scholarships to non-traditional students (no fewer than 10) who: - Have experienced a cumulative gap in their education of five or more years - Are at the UG level and pursuing their first baccalaureate degree - Anticipate participation in the workforce for a significant period of time subsequent to graduation and are ideally between the ages of 25-50 - Demonstrate financial need, not necessarily on their FASFA - Show academic promise and a commitment to obtaining their degree. Students can be either FT or PT. No single scholarship shall exceed $5,000. Grant is NOT for graduate students or students seeking an additional degree. It's not intended for students who are exclusively enrolled in online courses or for international students who are visiting the U.S. with the intention of returning to their countries of origin after graduation. Scholarship awards must be applied to student tuition fees exclusively and NOT used for books, lab fees, child care services or transportation costs.
