BACKGROUND
Robert Heath ’65 had a life-long and fulfilling career as a Foreign Service Officer. He encourages and supports students to go into the field of international affairs or foreign policy and make an impact in the international community. Even after his retirement, Robert is devoting his life promoting international affairs and diplomacy. He currently serves as a Trustee of American Councils for International Education, Executive Director of the Public Diplomacy Council, and Executive Director of the Diplomacy Center Foundation.

Fund Purpose: This Fund shall be used to provide undergraduate student support in the School of Public Policy to promote and encourage students to study and consider a career in international affairs or foreign policy.

Criteria and Selection Process:
This Fund will support School of Public Policy undergraduate students. Preference will be given to students who have expressed interest in pursuing a career in international affairs or foreign policy upon completion of their degrees at UCR. The recipient(s) will be chosen by a committee selected by the Dean of the School of Public Policy or their designee.

In years when there is no candidate who meets the criteria, awards will be held until the following year.
