Fund: Campbell Family Merit Scholarship Endowed Fund Department: Undergrad Student Financial Aid D02089 Purpose: Undergraduate Student Support Background: UC Riverside Foundation Trustees Rochelle Campbell and Allison Campbell seek to help make college affordable for the full-range of academically excellent undergraduate students applying to or enrolled at UC Riverside. Rochelle Campbell, who earned her bachelor's degree at Cal State University Northridge and her master's degree from the University of Redlands, was an adult school counsellor in the San Bernardino City Unified School District for 30 years. Allison Campbell, daughter of Neil ('75 PhD biology) and Rochelle Campbell, earned her bachelor's degree from Vassar College and master's degrees from Columbia University and New York University, and works as a museum educator. General Purpose: This fund shall be used to provide merit-based student scholarships for undergraduate students in andy dollar amount deemed necessary by the Office of Financial Aid. Criteria and Selection Process: Scholarship recipients shall be: - Selected by the Office of Financial Aid - Entering freshmen, transfer, or continuing undergraduate students in any college or major - Selected solely on the basis of merit and academic achievement. More than one scholarship may be awarded each year. The dollar amount of each scholarship shall be determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
