Fund: Executive Fellows Endowed Scholarship Fund Department: BUS Infrast Admin Prgm Srv Sup D01039 Purpose: Graduate Student Support Background: Beverly Bailey is the president and CEO of Stronghold Engineering, a local international company that provides full-service construction support. Beverly Bailey founded the firm 25 years ago, and it is currently ranked in the top ten minority-and women-owned construction companies in the nation. Her success has gained her top awards and achievements such as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Inland Empire in 2000 and the 2016 Enterprising Woman of the Year. Purpose: The award shall be used to provide scholarships to students enrolled in the UCR School of Business - A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) graduate programs. Criteria and Selection Process: The Executive Fellows Endowed Scholarship Fund will be utilized to identify, recruit, and retain the best and brightest students to AGSM and to ensure financial need does not hinder the academic and professional developpment of these students. Further, to recognize excellence in academic merit, leadership ability, and community engagement. Scholarships will be awarded annually to graduate students enrolled in AGSM. Recipients shall be selected by a faculty committee appointed by the Dean of the School of Business. In years when there is no candidate who meets the criteria, awards will be held until the following year. In addition, if more than two candidates are deemed worthy of support and meets the criteria, more than two awards may be given provided there is sufficient funding.
