A generous gift from two alumni and longtime University of California, Riverside supporters to the School of Business will enhance the research, teaching, and learning mission of the university, allowing UCR to recruit and reward top-tier faculty and local Inland Empire students in the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. UC Riverside is grateful for the philanthropic support that Teresa and Robert Stapleton have provided in establishing the Stapleton Presidential Chair in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Schulman Endowed Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Stapleton Family Endowed Business Scholarship.

This gift is the Stapleton family's latest show of support for UCR, having generously given their time to mentor and advise students and faculty in the School of Business.

Having been raised in the Riverside community Robert and Teresa Stapleton are passionate about education. Robert holds Bachelor of Science (1980) and Master of Arts in Business (1982) degrees from the University of California, Riverside ("UCR"). Teresa attended UCR (Class of '81) as a biology major and later went on to complete a BS in Nursing from Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles and a Masters in Nursing from University of Washington.
