Fund: China West Education Scholarship Endowment Fund Department: BUS Infrast Admin Prgm Srv Sup D01039 Purpose: Graduate Student Support Background: The chairman of China West International Education Foundation, Mr. Xiangdong Li, is very serious about business education. In addition to the creation of the China West Education Scholarship Endowment Fund that supports UC Riverside, Mr. Li has previoiusly endowed funds at the University of Minnesota and University of Virginia, as well as other education organizations in the US and China. His educational support includes: 1.) China West Education, an education investment company that introduces high-quality overseas education resources to domestic China 2.) Sichuan University High School American Program, which provides learning opportunties for students to enter the United States and the world's top universities, and 3.) China West International Education Foundation, a company committed to high-quality education resources for Chinese students studying abroad. Partner institutions in the U.S. include the University of Minnesota, University of Virginia, University of Maryland, University of Massachusetts, University of Southern California, Rutgers University, and California Student University San Bernardino. The China West Education Scholarship Endowment will provide scholarship funds for students in School of Business Administration, home of the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management. Criteria and Selection: This fund will provide scholarships for students enrolled in the School of Business, home of The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management.
