History and Purpose:

TheTejal Reddy Endowed Graduate Award Fund was established by his grandparents Dr. Damoder & Soumitri Reddy. Tejal Reddy was a beloved student at UCR. Tejal Reddy graduated from the University of California, Riverside, in June 2008 with a degree in Biology. In loving memory, this fund is established by his grandparents Dr. Damoder and Soumitri Reddy. Tejal was known for his deep love of his family and friends. He was a bright young man who excelled in his studies and academic endeavors.

This Fund shall be used to provide a graduate student award in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS) and/or the UCR School of Medicine.

Selection and Guidelines:

This fund shall be used to provide a graduate student award in the College of Natural & Agricultural Sciences (CNAS) and the UCR School of Medicine. The award shall be made annually in alternating years by the Dean of the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS) and the Dean of the School of Medicine (SOM). The first inaugural award will be issued by CNAS followed by SOM the following year and continuing that pattern there on out.

No student application is required. Personnel from the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences and/or the School of Medicine will notify award recipient(s).
