Fund: Gary Allan Ross Memorial Endowed Book Fund Department: Undergrad Student Financial Aid D02089 Purpose: Undergraduate Student Support History and Purpose: On August 5, 1981 the parents of Gary Allan Ross established the Gary Allan Ross Memorial Book Fund in memory of their son, a UCR student from Fall 1978 to Spring 1981, who died of muscular dystrophy on June 24, 1981 during his junior year. This fund allows the Student Special Services Office to give one or more disabled students partial funding for books.
