Fund: Re-Entry Student Endowed Scholarship Fund Department: Alumni Association Dept D01334 Purpose: Undergraduate Student Support History and Purpose: Established in 1985 by three former re-entry students, Joyce Vickery, Barbara Moore, and Peggy Voss, the scholarship provides assistance to returning students, many of them single parents, who are working towards a Bachelor's degree and whose education was interrupted by two or more years. The application process is coordinated by the UCR Alumni Association. Selection and Guidelines: Qualified applicants must meet the following criteria: - Reentry students over age 25, pursuing a bachelor's degree after an interruption in their education of at least two years. - Complete application packet with transcripts and letters of recommendation - Financial need as determined by the UCR Financial Aid Office The scholarship application process will take place in the Winter and Spring quarters.
