Fund: Ron Loveridge Program in Public Service Endowed Fund Department: Political Science Dept D01029 Purpose: Undergraduate Student Support History and Purpose: To honor Ron Loveridge, UCR Alumnus John Fox and other of Loveridge's former students and interns made gifts to establish the Ron Loveridge Program in Public Service to provide benefit and support of internships for UCR students interested in public service. Ron Loveridge is a UCR Professor of Political Science and Mayor of the City of Riverside. His mentorship has deeply affected generations of UCR Political Science students; his leadership has impacted positively the growth and prosperity of this region. His dedication to public service has influenced the careers and lives of countless UCR alumni. Selection and Guidelines: At the direction of the Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences to provide benefit and support of internships for UCR students interested in public service.
