Fund: Leo J. Klotz Memorial Endowment Fund Department: Microbiology & Plant Pathology Dept D01052 Purpose: Graduate Student Support History and Purpose: Established in 1985, the Leo J. Klotz Memorial Endowment Fund assists graduate students in the department of Plant Pathology in attending national meetings to present papers. Dr. Klotz was a Professor of Plant Pathology from 1928-1962, chairing the department from 1946 to 1957. An international authority on citrus diseases and control methods, he authored more than 400 scientific articles and co-edited the "The Color Handbook of Citrus Diseases." Selection and Guidelines: This award will be made through the Department of Plant Pathology.
