Fund: Dr. Collie and Interim Chancellor Jane Conoley Scholarship Fund Department: Graduate Student Financial Aid Dept D01145 Purpose: Graduate Student Support History and Purpose: Jane Close Conoley served as interim Chancellor at the University of California Riverside from December 2012 to August 2013 and Collie Conoley served as the Associate to the Interim Chancellor. Both Jane and Collie have a deep passion for education and students. Jane, a first generation college student herself, understands the challenges of this population. To thank Jane and Collie Conoley for their service and dedication to the campus during this time of transition, it is most fitting to name a student award in their honor. This Fund shall be used to provide graduate student support. General Purpose: This Fund shall be used to provide graduate student support. Selection and Guidelines: This Fund will be used to support graduate student(s) studying psychology at direction of the Dean of the Graduate Division Graduate student(s) studying positive psychology, preferably a student of Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky or Dr. Howard Friedman. First generation student(s) with financial need.
