History and Purpose:



Student Services is a department of the University of California Riverside which assists in creating an accessible University environment where students with disabilities have equal access to educational programs and opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of campus life. Student Services assists UC Riverside students in securing full and timely educational benefits to which they are entitled as a result of their own military service or the service-connected death or disability of a parent or spouse. Student Services provides voter registration opportunities and information about current state and national elections. Student Services informs interested UC Riverside students of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) opportunities that are available to them in cooperation with nearby universities. Last, they provide current selective service and draft information. This fund support computer equipment for the department.


Selection and Guidelines:



To provide support for awards toward purchase of adapted computer hardware/software for UCR students who have disabilities. Equipment becomes the property of the student.
