Fund: Joseph A. Broyles Scholarship Fund Department: CHASS Dean's Office Dept D01008 Purpose: Graduate or Undergraduate Student Support History and Purpose: Joseph Broyles is a UCR alumnus (HS '92). He created the Joseph A. Broyles Scholarship Fund in November 2003 to provide financial assistance to students majoring in Business Administration, Administrative Studies, Economics or Business Economics, who must work part time. Selection and Guidelines: The fund is to provide current support to students at the direction of the Financial Aid Office. The criteria for selection are the following: 1. That the recipient be working part time (averaging at least 15 hours per week,); 2. That the recipient exhibit financial need; and, 3. Has declared a major in the field of Business Administration, Administrative Studies, Economics or Business Economics. Continuing UCR Students may apply between December and March 2 using the Continuing Student Scholarship application. Further details are sent to undergraduates via webmail in December.
