Fund: The Joy K. Tilton Cancer Research Fund Department: Biomedical Sciences Dept D01059 Purpose: Graduate Student Support History and Purpose: The Joy K. Tilton Graduate Student Award in Cancer Research was established in 1995 by Robert Tilton in memory of his wife, Joy. The award is made annually at the Spring Biomedical Sciences Research Awards Ceremony to an outstanding graduate student in the area of cancer research. Part of the award is given directly to the student and part of the award is set aside to pay for that student's attendance at a research conference. Selection and Guidelines: To support an award to a Biomedical Sciences graduate student in recognition of their research accomplishments. No student application is required.
